Since Sept 15, 2025 (new accounts since April 2025) the bonus is capped at $10,000 in eligible Net Purchases per billing cycle and excludes education/school, gift cards, insurance, tax, business-to-business and third-party bill-pay transactions; some grandfathered cardholders received different letter terms. 3% foreign transaction fee. Points expire after 12 consecutive statement cycles with no activity. Smartly Shopping Deals program ended Jan 31, 2026. U.S. Bank stopped Kroger card applications in May 2026 and announced (July 2026) that Kroger cards will be converted to this Smartly 2% card. No welcome bonus advertised.
