Upper-mid-tier United card (Visa Signature). United/Chase refreshed the lineup on 2025-03-24: annual fee $250 -> $350 (existing cardholders from 2025-08-01), the old $125 United purchase credit and two 5,000-mile award rebates were replaced by a $200 TravelBank credit, a 10,000-mile anniversary award discount and a second 10,000-mile discount after $20,000 spend, PQP cap doubled to 18,000 with a 1,000 PQP annual bonus from 2026, and new partner credits were added (Renowned Hotels $150, rideshare $100, Avis/Budget $80, Instacart $180 through 12/31/2027, JSX $150). Chase's page in 2026 marks 4x on United purchases (up from 3x) as NEW. The 5x Renowned Hotels rate is filed under travel_portal with no merchant key because the taxonomy lacks a Renowned Hotels merchant; it does not apply to other Chase Travel bookings. Chase 5/24 rule applies.
