PenFed Honors Advantage = military service (active duty, Guard/Reserve, honorably discharged veteran or retired) OR being primary owner of a PenFed Access America or Free Checking account (Free Checking needs a $500 daily balance or $500/month direct deposit; PenCheck Limited excluded). Rewards T&C: 1.5% cash rewards on net purchases, 2% with Honors Advantage; no caps. Cash rewards never expire while the account is open (kept 120 days after closure); redeemed automatically each month as a statement credit by default, or deposited to a PenFed checking/share account or an external bank (min $0.01).
