No changes to earn structure in 2025-2026; the same 5%/3%/3%/1.5% structure has been in place since the Sept 15, 2020 Freedom refresh. Foreign transaction fee is 3% and is NOT being removed — the 2026-09-20 fee removal applies only to the Freedom Flex (Doctor of Credit, 2026-07-15). Lyft 2% total runs through 2027-09-30; DashPass offers through 2027-12-31. Rewards post as Chase Ultimate Rewards points; 1 point = 1 cent for cash back/statement credit (no minimum to redeem, never expire while the account is open); Amazon Shop with Points redeems at only 0.8 cents/point.
